The Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau (AICVB) has partnered with Arts & Culture Nassau to create a traveling mural for visitors and locals alike to enjoy while discovering Amelia Island. Those who find the mural are encouraged to share their own photos and memories of it on social media using #BeKindAmelia. The traveling mural launched Friday, July 1, when local artist Lamar Miles brought the mural to life. It is currently at the Amelia Island Welcome Center (102 Centre Street) until July 8. For the remainder of July, the mural will be moved to several downtown Fernandina Beach locations and will feature different backdrops. In July, the #BeKindAmelia mural schedule includes the Amelia Island Welcome Center (July 1-8); the pocket park next to Amelia Island Coffee (July 8-15); Fernandina Harbor Marina (July 15-22) and the park on Ash and 2nd Street (Jul 22-29). In August, the mural will travel to various locations on the south end of the island. To learn more and view the full summer mural location schedule,
